Matthew 25:36 “I was ... in prison and you visited me.”

Tired of only connecting with people through zoom screens? If so, why not embrace old fashioned pen and paper to welcome a new soul into your heart? How about a incarcerated pen pal?

Interfaith Action for Human Rights (IAHR) needs pen pals to connect with men and women scattered throughout the country in Bureau of Prison facilities. Some of these are participants in Free Minds “Write Night” who are looking for more personal communication. Jesus asks us to remember those in prison (Matthew 25:36). If we can’t visit, we can write.

A one-hour of zoom-based orientation and training is required before being assigned a pen pal. For more information or to get involved, see https://www.interfaithactionhr.org/pen_pal_program.
