Worship With Us
Worship is the heart of our community. In Psalm 100:4, we are called to "Enter God's gates with Thanksgiving, and God's courts with praise." We answer this call by coming together every Sunday for music, prayer, and to share the Good News.

Join us for worship in person. Everyone is welcome!

Worship is at 11 am - in person and online.
On the First and Second Sundays of the month we’re at Western Presbyterian Church.
On the Third and Fourth Sundays of the month we’re at Church of the Pilgrims (2201 P St NW).
How do I get there?
We are located at 2401 Virginia Ave, NW. There’s a big front entrance with stained glass windows at that side of the building. Many people also find us at the other side of the building, at 24th and G St. NW, where we have a second entrance off 24th St.
We have a small parking garage on the 24th St. side of the building and the garage door is open on Sunday mornings before worship begins. Feel free to come and park in the garage! There’s also free street parking available in the neighborhood.
We’re just a two blocks south of the Foggy Bottom Metro Station and several bus lines frequent the area.
(On Third and Fourth Sundays of the Month, we worship at Church of the Pilgrims - 2201 P St. NW. They have a small parking lot off 22nd St. on the north side of the building, and you can park on 22nd St on Sundays, and they are located 4 blocks west of the Dupont Circle Metro Station.)
What happens during worship?
When you arrive at the building, you’ll be greeted by a volunteer who will invite you to make a name tag and will offer you a worship bulletin. Then, come have a seat wherever you feel comfortable in the sanctuary.
We start with music (mostly lead by an organ/piano and choir), then using the worship bulletin as our guide, we share in song, prayer, and liturgy. We read a sacred story and discuss it (either with a sermon, or some opportunity to engage with the text together). Then we pray and sing a bit more.
We are doing a new thing, sharing in worship with Church of the Pilgrims, so we are currently exploring some new and creative ways of worshiping together. Some Sundays may look and feel different than others. We’re enjoying the variety!
Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome to share in the Feast!
Children are welcome! We host a Time for Children during the service and Children’s Sunday School the Second Sunday of every month. There are coloring sheets and markers in the back of the sanctuary.
After worship, we gather for coffee and fellowship in the Courtyard Room.
