There are various ways to participate, so do what’s most comfortable for you and your setup.

Option 1

“Show Up and Sing” on Zoom

If you’d prefer not to record, you can still participate by attending the Zoom Choir call at 7:00–7:30pm, Monday, December 21. Email Allan for the Zoom invitation. 

Allan will lead a short meeting and sing-through of the carol. The meeting will be recorded (with everyone muted) and inserted into the Sunday Worship livestream video.  

Option 2

Submit a Recording

You can submit a recording of:

• video and audio

• audio only

• video only (lip sync)

Step 1: Practice Your Part

Step 2: Prepare to Record

• Set up a dark room and candlelight by your face

• minimize excess noise

• use headphones/earbuds (so the mic only picks up your voice)

Step 3: Record

1. have your part video queued up (see links above)

2. press record on your device

3. play your part video and sing!

4. stop your recording

5. email your file to Allan

Silent Night recordings are due by 9 pm, Tuesday, December 22. This is the cutoff date, but please send them as soon as possible.
